Berties author Helen reads the story aloud as the text appears.
On the iPad, each page has an illustration on the left, with the text on the right. On the iPhone and iPod touch, the illustrations are displayed full screen when you hold the device vertically. Turn the device horizontally to display the text.
Also, you have the choice of "read it to me" where the voice reads the story and the pages turn automatically, or "read it myself" where the voice is turned off and the young reader can advance the story at their own pace.
The gentle and engaging voice of the reader means Berties adventures are perfect for bedtime or will help pass the time on a long journey. Just like the other titles from the Story Mouse, all the Bertie stories are a pure listening experience for younger children, as well as a collection of read-along books for those who are just starting to learn their ABCs.
